In December 1981, a light-duty roll grinder model MQ84160x5000, independently designed and successfully trial-produced, was completed. In October 1982, this product was awarded the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements of 1981 by the People's Government of Guizhou Province.

The MM52125A gantry guide rail grinding machine has been successfully prototyped. In October 1982, this product was awarded the "First Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements in the Machinery Industry" by the Ministry of Machine Industry. In December 1982, it received the "First Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements of Guizhou Province in 1981." In 1983, it was honored with the "Certificate for Outstanding New Products of the People's Republic of China," and in November 1984, it was selected as a "High-Quality Product and Outstanding New Product of Guizhou Province."
