Sixth Session of the Legal Mini-Class: Standardizing Contract Management and Enhancing Risk Awareness—Guiyang Xianfeng Conducts Legal Training on “Identifying Issues in Contract Reviews and Improving Corresponding Measures”

To standardize contract management, enhance internal control awareness, improve the institutional framework, and prevent risks associated with contract signing, the Audit and Legal Affairs Department of Guiyang Xianfeng recently conducted a legal knowledge training session titled “Identifying Issues in Contract Review and Implementing Improvement Measures” in the Marketing Center Conference Room on the first floor of the company. Members from the Audit and Legal Affairs Department, the Production and Supply Department, the Marketing Center, and other relevant departments attended the training.

This training session was led by Bao Demei, a staff member from the Audit and Legal Department of Guiyang Xianfeng. The presentation focused primarily on issues that frequently arise during contract reviews. Relying on the "Interim Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Value-Added Tax," the session provided detailed explanations addressing problems such as inconsistencies in the representation of amounts in contracts, improper or altered formats for amounts written out in words, and other similar issues. Participants were urged to strive for standardization and pay close attention to the details of contract clauses. In addition, the session covered the notice issued on November 19, 2017, regarding the adjustment of the value-added tax rate under the "Interim Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Value-Added Tax," as well as the latest regulations governing value-added tax, enabling everyone to gain a better understanding of current knowledge related to corporate value-added tax.
After the training concluded, Peng Zhenhai, Head of the Audit and Legal Department at Guiyang Xianfeng, once again emphasized the issues we’ve identified in our contracts, urging everyone to promptly address these shortcomings. At the same time, he stressed the importance of enhancing legal awareness and internal control consciousness, thereby laying a solid foundation for the construction of Guiyang Xianfeng’s internal control and risk management system.

Through this training, employees have gained a deeper understanding of contract management and will place greater emphasis on the standardization and effectiveness of contract management in their future work, thereby contributing their part to the company’s development. Meanwhile, Guiyang Xianfeng will continue to intensify its legal training efforts, constantly enhancing employees’ legal awareness and risk-prevention capabilities to ensure the steady growth of Guiyang Xianfeng’s business.
