Subsequently, Xu Xinli, the project leader from Guiyang Xianfeng Technical Center, introduced the project and the domestically produced roller grinder—covering its product functions, features, and advantages—and highlighted its innovative aspects. He explained that Guiyang Xianfeng has redesigned and developed the existing MJK13100×50 model by leveraging its existing components, such as the grinding wheel, workpiece bed, headstock, and tailstock. The design was improved by refining components like the carriage, while adding new elements including a grinding frame, measurement system, and electrical control unit. Furthermore, the company tapped into the advantageous resources of its partner enterprises and, combining these with its existing technologies, carried out joint and independent development of key innovative technologies. As a result, they successfully manufactured a prototype of the MK84100 CNC roller grinder, thereby breaking the reliance on imported core components—such as the CNC system and spindle motor—for “Xianfeng” brand CNC roller machine tools. This achievement enables the creation of domestically produced CNC roller grinders, reducing production costs at the source, shortening procurement cycles, and accelerating product delivery times.
