Strengthen Safety Awareness, Solidify the Safety Defense Line—Guiyang Xianfeng Holds a Safety Knowledge Competition

This June marks the 23rd National “Safety Production Month.” To further promote the implementation of safety production responsibilities, comprehensively enhance employees’ awareness of safety production, strengthen safety management, and effectively prevent and curb safety accidents, on the morning of June 25, 2024, Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guiyang Xianfeng”) organized a safety event themed “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond in Emergencies, and Keep Lifelines Clear.” The knowledge quiz competition featured a total of 12 participating teams, with nearly 50 participants in all.

This competition will be conducted as a closed-book exam. The exam... The content covers a wide range of topics, including laws and regulations on safe production, knowledge about occupational disease hazards and their prevention and control, typical violations and potential hazards at construction sites, emergency response procedures, hazard identification, and general safety knowledge. During the competition, each contestant was energetic and meticulously answered the questions, demonstrating strict discipline, a positive attitude, and an excellent performance, ultimately achieving outstanding results after the event.

This safety knowledge competition not only enabled employees to gain a deeper understanding of safety theory but also effectively enhanced their safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, fostering a positive atmosphere in which “everyone emphasizes safety and everyone knows how to respond to emergencies.” By using the competition as a means to promote learning and applying what is learned, we have successfully integrated safety production awareness and labor protection knowledge into employees’ daily work. This approach fully leverages the radiating effect of the safety knowledge competition, strengthens the bottom-line thinking on safety production, and boosts both the reach and coverage of publicity efforts aimed at promoting knowledge of safety production laws and regulations.

Next, Guiyang Xianfeng will further strengthen the safety and rule-of-law awareness of its employees, firmly establish the concept of safe development, and integrate this safety philosophy into the work and daily life of all departments and employees, making it a standard for their everyday conduct.
