To attract talent, address housing issues for talented individuals, and effectively improve employees’ living conditions and environment—ensuring that employees can be recruited and retained, and enhancing their sense of belonging and happiness—Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guiyang Xianfeng”) made advance plans, coordinated arrangements, and closely monitored construction schedules. Over the course of one month, the company successfully completed the renovation and refurbishment of five sets of old employee dormitories, and the renovation acceptance work was carried out on August 7, 2023.

It is reported that Guiyang Xianfeng had previously renovated 14 apartments in Building 21 of Huaxi Xianfeng Garden, which are designated for college students. These apartments are fully furnished with appliances and amenities including refrigerators, washing machines, water heaters, beds, kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, and computer desks and chairs. Additionally, Xianfeng has renovated 8 single-person dorm rooms (equipped with wardrobes, beds, and tables and chairs), repaired 5 dorm rooms (including magnetic powder scraping and replacement of doors and windows), tiled the corridors on the fourth floor (adding two new shower rooms and one new toilet), and remodeled three toilets on the first, second, and third floors. In recent years, as Guiyang Xianfeng has continued to expand its scale and the number of employees has steadily increased, issues related to employee dormitory occupancy, living conditions, and management have become increasingly prominent. The original accommodation conditions can no longer meet the growing housing demands. To keep pace with the company’s robust growth and thoroughly address the employee housing challenges, Guiyang Xianfeng has once again undertaken renovations of five older staff dormitories originally allocated by the company.
To enable employees to move into their new dormitories as soon as possible, Guiyang Xianfeng overcame the challenges of tight deadlines and heavy workloads, spending one month renovating and upgrading five sets of old staff housing units. After the renovation, the bright and spacious rooms, clean sanitary facilities, excellent ventilation, and fully equipped amenities have created a warm and comfortable living environment for employees, allowing them to truly feel the warmth of home. Each suite is now furnished with brand-new computer desks, chairs, and single bunk beds; it also features private bathrooms and kitchens, enabling resident employees to relax and recharge effectively after their busy workdays.
“Give me peaches and plums, and I’ll repay you with jade and fine pearls.” Guiyang Xianfeng treats its employees like family, and its employees, in turn, regard Guiyang Xianfeng as their home. By focusing on various aspects—including career development, incentive policies, daily living conditions, and welfare benefits—Guiyang Xianfeng has created a sense of happiness among its employees, greatly boosting their initiative, enthusiasm, and creativity, and enhancing the team’s cohesion, appeal, and fighting capacity. This recent renovation of five old staff dormitories at Guiyang Xianfeng not only solved the employees’ housing issues and improved their quality of life but also further motivated them to work more enthusiastically, strengthening their sense of unity and loyalty. After all, only when employees are well-rested can they perform at their best. By genuinely addressing employees’ concerns and safeguarding their interests, this initiative provides strong support for the company in attracting, employing, and retaining talent.
