As the Qingming Festival approaches, the Party branch of the Guizhou Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guizhou Xianfeng”) organized a themed activity for the Qingming Festival and integrity education, under the theme “Remembering the Martyrs and Recalling Our Original Aspirations, Upholding Integrity and Fulfilling Our Mission.” On the afternoon of March 31, Party members, development objects, and active applicants for Party membership from the Guizhou Xianfeng Party branch visited the Model Village of Integrity Culture in Haohuahong Town, Huishui County, Guizhou Province, to carry out an integrity education-themed activity. On the afternoon of April 1, Party members, development objects, and active applicants for Party membership gathered in the Party member activity room to hold a thematic Party Day activity, conducting study on the first agenda item, conveying the spirit of documents issued by the central government, provincial and municipal authorities, and higher-level organizations, reciting red family letters—“Three Letters from Xia Minghan” and “Letter from Huang Jiguang to His Mother”—and watching the revolutionary film “1921.”

In the model village for integrity culture, all Party members, development candidates, and active applicants for Party membership listened attentively as the docent explained the heroic sacrifices of the martyrs who bravely gave their lives for the cause of national liberation, as well as their stories of integrity. The martyrs’ revolutionary journey—marked by honesty, incorruptibility, and a willingness to sacrifice their lives without hesitation—inspired everyone to cherish the present moment and look forward to the future. This experience provided Party members and cadres with a profound education in Party spirit and a spiritual cleansing. Everyone expressed that they would, through concrete actions, continuously enhance their moral qualities and spiritual outlook, steer clear of vulgarity, stay far away from lowbrow tastes, and avoid pandering to popular trends. Instead, they pledged to cultivate themselves carefully, act with prudence, uphold virtue and self-respect, and remain steadfastly honest and upright.

During the thematic Party Day activity, in the segment dedicated to reciting red family letters, Party members passionately read aloud two poignant letters: “Three Letters from Xia Minghan” and “Letter from Huang Jiguang to His Mother,” and shared their personal reflections. We are now standing at the historic juncture where two centennials converge. The spark of ideals and the banner of faith that revolutionary martyrs like Xia Minghan vowed to defend unto death have been passed on to our hands. As Communist Party members, we must, in our work, inherit and carry forward their great spirit—their unwavering determination to face even certain death without fear, and their courage to press forward ever more boldly in the face of adversity. We must remain true to our original aspirations, build upon past achievements, and keep striving tirelessly and contributing wholeheartedly to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
