A light rain falls as swallows fly past during Qingming Festival; we commemorate the martyrs and pay tribute to their spirits! As the Qingming Festival approaches, in order to honor the revolutionary martyrs, cherish their outstanding achievements, further promote the fine traditional culture of the Chinese nation, cultivate and practice the core socialist values, and uphold the spirit of patriotism, recently, the Casting and Forging Party Branch of Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guiyang Xianfeng”) organized party members, development candidates, and new recruits... Party activists, etc. More than 20 people A Qingming Festival memorial service was held at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Huishui County, Guizhou Province.

At the memorial site, attendees were diligently sweeping up leaves and branches that had been knocked down by hail and heavy rain. All personnel stood solemnly in formation, their expressions serious and reverent. Party members, filled with deep sorrow and solemnity, presented flower baskets to the martyrs and adjusted the ribbons. Everyone observed a moment of silent mourning for the martyrs. “I voluntarily join the Communist Party of China, uphold the Party’s program, and abide by its constitution…” After performing three bows, the party members jointly reaffirmed their入党 oath. With firm and resounding voices, they commemorated those turbulent years of war, enabling every party member present to truly feel the pride and sense of responsibility that come with being a member of the Party.

“Each generation has its own Long March, and each generation must walk its own Long March well. The Long March of the revolutionary martyrs has already been completed; our Long March is still ongoing. Standing at a new historical starting point, we must shoulder our new mission, continue to carry forward the great spirit of the Long March, stay true to our original aspiration, forge ahead with determination, adopt an even broader perspective and a more vigorous fighting spirit, work diligently and pragmatically, overcome all difficulties, and strive to write a new chapter of high-quality development for Guiyang’s Xianfeng,” said Shi Yuefei, Secretary of the Casting and Forging Party Branch.

Finally, all participants visited the Martyrs’ Cemetery to engage in patriotic education and study, watching accounts of the heroic deeds of revolutionary pioneers from earlier generations. As they retraced the footsteps of the revolutionaries, they felt the power of their faith and, by revisiting history, received a profound education in revolutionary traditions.
Through this tomb-sweeping activity, we have carried forward the revolutionary traditions, promoted the spirit of patriotism, underscored the importance of the mass line, cultivated a strong sense of patriotism among all staff members, and reinforced each comrade’s historical mission and sense of responsibility. In our future work, the Party members of the Casting and Forging Branch will uphold the aspirations of our martyrs, strive diligently, and forge ahead with unrelenting perseverance, paying tribute to the revolutionary martyrs through our concrete actions!
