Since April 2022, Guizhou Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guizhou Xianfeng”) has kicked off preparatory work for its upcoming IPO. Data entry is a crucial component of the pre-IPO preparation process; the data involved is intricate and complex, and the volume of data information is enormous. As a member of Guizhou Xianfeng, Wang Xiaomei resolutely decided to join the “inventory management” team.

Wang Xiaomei, female, born in August 1978, is a member of the Communist Party of China. She joined the Production and Supply Department of Guiyang Xianfeng in July 2002. Her daily work primarily involves procurement and warehouse management; however, after becoming involved in “inventory management” tasks, she has also taken on additional, time-consuming specialized duties such as warehouse inventory counts and data entry.
Among these tasks, data entry has proven particularly challenging for many people in the “inventory management” process. Because of inaccuracies in the original source data, every single entry must be carefully checked one by one. In inventory management, even a tiny error in just one piece of data can lead to a cascade of problems throughout the entire system. As a result, she often works overtime with her team until 9 p.m. every night. While everyone else enjoys their weekends and relaxes, she continues to lead her team, staying firmly at their posts. Wang Xiaomei and her team have been doing this consistently for six or seven months—working long hours and extra shifts—to ensure that Guiyang Xianfeng’s market launch progresses smoothly. Wang Xiaomei lives in Huaxi, and her commute home is quite long. Sometimes, she even takes work materials home with her, often continuing to work until 11 or 12 p.m. As a result, she has had to sacrifice time spent with her family.

Her colleagues unanimously agree that she is straightforward and decisive, always ready to take action when it comes to getting things done, and deeply committed to justice. During previous inventory checks of raw materials in the warehouse, she managed to mobilize and coordinate the relevant staff, meticulously organizing and arranging the entire mechanical and electrical warehouse as well as the hardware warehouse, bringing about a significant improvement and setting an exemplary standard in her work. When participating in the “inventory management” project, she and her team members carefully reviewed and verified each piece of original data, treating every single detail—no matter how minor—with the utmost seriousness.

She has always believed that, as a member of Guiyang Xianfeng, she must do everything in her power during this critical period to contribute to the preparations for the company’s IPO. “We absolutely must get the preparatory work for the IPO right—and keep doing it consistently. We need to uphold the professional ethic of dedication and commitment to our jobs, continuously improve the quality of our frontline staff, and avoid being giants in words but dwarfs in actions. We must truly immerse ourselves in our work. This is crucial for every cadre and employee. In the future, our management practices will surely undergo earth-shattering changes,” Wang Xiaomei said with utmost seriousness.
Goals guide our direction, and goals unite our strength. It is precisely because of individuals like Wang Xiaomei—those who maintain strategic composure, stay firmly committed to their chosen path, never deviate from the course, and persist with unwavering determination—that the preparatory work for Guiyang Xianfeng’s IPO has made further progress. We firmly believe that with the concerted efforts, collective wisdom, relentless tackling of challenges, and proactive spirit of all the cadres and employees at Guiyang Xianfeng, as one generation follows another and each relay runner passes the baton to the next, we will surely strive vigorously to achieve our set goals.
