Since April 2022, Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guiyang Xianfeng”) has officially launched preparatory work for its IPO. To promote the company’s high-quality development—shifting from scale-expansion-oriented growth to quality-and-efficiency-oriented growth and transforming its management model from extensive to refined—data entry is an essential step that cannot be bypassed.
Data entry is a task that requires not only meticulousness but also patience. It also demands strong communication and coordination skills as well as clear analytical thinking. In the Guiyang Xianfeng Data Entry Team, there are several team members who aren't afraid of hardship or heavy workloads; they work tirelessly and without complaint, driven by a sense of urgency—recognizing that time waits for no one and every moment counts—and efficiently complete their tasks. They strive to be pioneers in the company’s high-quality development, such as Li Xinting, a young female planner who recently joined the team...
Li Xinting, female, was born in August 1998. In May 2022, she became a planner at the Guiyang Xianfeng Casting and Forging Branch Factory. At just 25 years old, she joined the pre-IPO preparation work at Guiyang Xianfeng only half a month after starting her job—working alongside many experienced mentors who had been in the industry for years. Despite her lack of work experience and still adjusting to the demanding pace of the job, often requiring overtime, she never complained or even considered quitting midway. On the contrary, the more challenges she faced, the more determined she became. Working closely with her team, she pressed forward with resilience, overcoming one difficulty after another and solving one problem after another.

The entry of basic “inventory, sales, and procurement” information is a critically important step in preparing for the company’s public listing. Given the complexity of the company’s product range, the diversity of models, and the lengthy production processes and cycles for components, there are extremely high requirements for accurate recording of inbound and outbound inventory. As an established state-owned enterprise with over 60 years of history, Guiyang Xianfeng naturally faces certain historical challenges in its “inventory, sales, and procurement” data management. The company still relies on traditional manual accounting methods, which have resulted in low levels of digitalization and delayed progress in IT infrastructure development. This has led to data inconsistencies, untimely updates of inbound and outbound records, and discrepancies between recorded and actual inventory quantities, prices, and movements. Whenever these issues arise, Li Xinting’s first instinct is to think independently and rely as much as possible on her own judgment to accurately identify the nature and extent of the problems. She then conducts comprehensive, multi-faceted analyses, actively seeking solutions. To resolve these issues as quickly as possible, she proactively communicates with colleagues, senior technicians, team leaders from the association, and company executives, striving to find solutions within the shortest possible timeframe. Although she often works overtime late into the night, even amid busyness and fatigue, she never gives up. Instead, she remains positive and proactive in tackling and solving problems, fully embodying the vigor and spirit of the new generation.

By gaining a deeper understanding of the preparation work for the past year’s launch, she has developed a more profound appreciation for her current role. She believes that to become an outstanding employee, one must possess a strong team spirit and a dedicated work ethic, as well as be adept at communication, eager to learn, and proactive in taking action. Only by clearly defining one’s own position and putting in diligent effort to master the job’s intricacies can one better adapt to the workplace. By actively integrating into the team and skillfully managing relationships with all parties involved, one can maintain a positive working attitude in the new environment. Moreover, cultivating a service-oriented mindset and enhancing communication and coordination are essential for performing one’s duties effectively.

It is precisely because of these selfless and dedicated individuals that Guiyang’s listing process at Xianfeng has progressed so rapidly. The remarkable results achieved over the past year in preparation for the listing are underpinned by countless unsung heroes like Li Xinting—people who have quietly devoted themselves to the cause.
