At work, Zhang Zhongkai consistently embodies the fine qualities of a soldier—never losing his spirit even after leaving the military. Standing before the high-temperature medium-frequency melting furnace, he never complains of hardship, no matter how profusely he sweats. When faced with urgent tasks, he always works overtime without fail, never letting company production schedules slip. After finishing up each day’s furnace operation, you’ll always find him cleaning around the electric furnace. Although his eyes sometimes show a hint of fatigue, he says, “This is my job—I’m sure I can do it well!” With just these few simple words, he vividly demonstrates the outstanding spirit of a veteran: daring to take responsibility and being willing to endure hardship and labor.
