Jian Shibing joined Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guiyang Xianfeng”) in August 2004. He is currently a senior technician and fitter at the final assembly workshop of Guiyang Xianfeng, primarily engaged in the final assembly and commissioning of CNC roll-grinding machine grinding heads, as well as trial runs and grinding tests of roll-grinding machines. He has been awarded numerous honors by Guiyang Xianfeng, including “Advanced Worker,” “Xianfeng Quality Model,” and “Xianfeng National Craftsman.” Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated an unwavering spirit of continuous innovation and resilience, brimming with an unstoppable passion for striving forward, and radiating the admirable qualities and personal charm of a Xianfeng employee—dedication to one’s work, willingness to endure hardship, and readiness to make sacrifices.

2023 Year 10 At the beginning of the month, a customer in Guiyang Xianfeng had a CNC roll grinder. MJK8480 × 60 (Changsha Zhongxing) has completed power-on and commissioning at the final assembly plant site and is now preparing to conduct trial grinding and inspection according to the process flow specified by Guiyang Xianfeng. All relevant staff at the final assembly plant are fully engaged and giving their utmost effort to ensure this critical process is smoothly completed and that the product is delivered on schedule. However, at this crucial stage, the final assembly plant received an urgent notice from the Guiyang Xianfeng Marketing Center. Another customer urgently needs grinding of four rolls. The customer has specifically dispatched a dedicated representative to the assembly site at Guiyang Xianfeng’s final assembly plant to provide on-site supervision. They have also requested that Guiyang Xianfeng complete the grinding of these four urgently needed rolls within two days, as per the specified requirements. Should Guiyang Xianfeng fail to deliver on time, it will face severe consequences, including equipment downtime, production stoppages, contractual disputes, and damage to the company’s reputation. Moreover, this could lead to immeasurable economic losses and negative word-of-mouth effects—making the situation extremely urgent. At this moment, all employees at Guiyang Xianfeng’s final assembly plant who are qualified to perform roll grinding are fully focused and diligently working to meet the deadline. MJK8480 × 60 (Changsha Zhongxing) Trial grinding inspection—facing a situation with tight deadlines and heavy workloads, the Guiyang Xianfeng Final Assembly Branch... The relevant officials immediately took action and made arrangements. After discussion at the branch factory meeting, it was decided to assign this task to Jian Shibing, who is technically proficient, works diligently, and has a proper work ethic.

After receiving the assignment, Jian Shibing immediately threw himself into the work: changing grinding wheels, connecting water pumps, adjusting the roll alignment, writing grinding programs, and continuously fine-tuning the grinding process parameters—all without complaint. With close cooperation among all teams at the final assembly plant, Jian Shibing kept up a relentless pace, skipping his lunch break and working overtime late into the night. After nearly 30 hours of intense effort, he successfully completed the task on schedule, ensuring both quality and quantity. This not only relieved the customer’s urgent needs but also earned him high praise and full recognition from the client, thus establishing Guizhou Xianfeng’s excellent reputation for timely and reliable delivery.
