Xing Zhu Chun, male, Han ethnicity, born in March 1971, joined Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guiyang Xianfeng”) after graduating from Xianfeng Technical College in 1988. He currently works as a CNC milling operator at the Guiyang Xianfeng Metalworking Branch. He has been working for 35 years, during which he has always been diligent and hardworking, never shying away from any effort, and boldly moving forward. For 35 years straight, he has devoted himself wholeheartedly to the development of Guiyang Xianfeng and achieved outstanding work results.

Xing Zhuchun, who has only a junior-high-school education, found himself at a loss when he first joined the CNC workshop. Having never before worked with CNC machines, he lacked solid theoretical knowledge and practical experience, making it difficult for him to handle real-world tasks effectively. The challenges he faced made him acutely aware of just how profoundly insufficient knowledge in various areas could impact his work. Relying on his diligent and eager-to-learn spirit, he seized every opportunity to learn and seek guidance—from both in-service teachers and engineers who provided instruction after new equipment was installed and commissioned, from colleagues within the factory as well as personnel from other organizations—even from younger workers who had joined the company more recently. Whenever someone possessed greater expertise than himself, he humbly sought their advice. With the care and support of the branch factory’s leadership and the assistance of his coworkers, he steadily accumulated knowledge through hard work, thoughtful reflection, and courageous exploration. He consistently held himself to high standards, strictly adhering to the requirements set forth by both the company and the branch factory, and diligently striving to enhance his professional knowledge and technical skills. Through continuous effort and self-study, he quickly mastered all the key techniques required to operate machining centers. From being an ordinary apprentice, he gradually rose to become a senior technician and eventually emerged as one of the top performers in his team, fully capable of excelling in his job duties.

In his work, Xing Zhuchun has consistently demonstrated humility and a willingness to learn, coupled with hard work, practicality, and a tenacious fighting spirit. He strictly adheres to rules and regulations, fosters unity among colleagues, and maintains an optimistic, upward-looking attitude. He always adopts a rigorous and conscientious work ethic, working diligently and without complaint. Anyone who knows Xing Zhuchun understands that he not only takes his work seriously and responsibly but also strives for perfection in every detail. Whether it’s product quality or project schedules, he consistently ranks at the top within his branch factory. Even in everyday, seemingly trivial tasks, he never loses his meticulous approach and his passion for learning and exploration. It is precisely these outstanding qualities that have enabled him to develop superb milling skills. Over the years, Xing Zhuchun has consistently exceeded his individual planned work hours; in the past three years, he has consistently worked over 8,000 hours annually, with overtime hours exceeding 600 hours each year. His remarkable work performance and strong sense of responsibility have earned him unanimous recognition from the company, his branch factory, and his colleagues. As a result, he has been honored repeatedly as an “Outstanding Quality Worker” and an “Advanced Production Worker” by Guiyang Xianfeng. Moreover, he has represented the company many times in provincial and municipal employee vocational skills competitions: In 2006, he placed second in the Guiyang City Vocational Skills Competition and was awarded the title of “Technical Expert”; in 2006, he ranked eighth in the provincial employee vocational skills competition; in 2022, he placed third in the Guiyang City Industrial Enterprise Employee Vocational Skills Competition and was awarded the honorary title of “Jiaxiu Craftsman”; in 2022, during the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone’s “Ten-Hundred-Thousand” Skills Star (Economic Construction Craftsman) selection event, he was recognized as a “One-Star Skill Talent”; and in 2022, he was honored with the second edition of Guizhou Province’s “Most Beautiful Worker” award.

In life, Xing Zhu Chun carries forward the fine traditions of being hardworking and modest, diligent and persevering, and always ready to help others. He consistently remains honest and upright in his conduct and works diligently and conscientiously, holding himself to strict standards at all times and setting an exemplary example in every situation. He keeps the overall picture in mind, unites harmoniously with his colleagues, strives for continuous improvement in his work, actively safeguards the collective interests, and does not dwell on personal gains or losses. He dares to express his own ideas, is skilled at offering rational suggestions to his superiors for improving production techniques and enhancing production efficiency, willingly accepts all tasks assigned by his leaders, and is not afraid of hardship, fatigue, or difficulty. He completes the tasks entrusted to him with enthusiasm and seriousness, maintaining high standards even when faced with challenging work, and strictly adheres to safe and civilized production practices.

In his studies, Xing Zhuchun has always maintained a diligent, painstaking, and eager-to-learn attitude, constantly improving his professional skills. He diligently studies relevant specialized knowledge, humbly seeking advice from more experienced senior colleagues. He loves whatever job he undertakes and strives to do even better with each task, completing it meticulously and carefully. He is adept at summarizing experiences and ensuring that the qualification rate of workpieces meets the required standards. There is no limit to learning; only by continuously updating one’s knowledge and skills can we keep pace with ever-evolving demands. In his daily work, he never takes things lightly. Through continuous learning, he has accumulated rich professional knowledge, enhanced his skill level, and successfully solved numerous technical challenges in production. He works hard to master professional knowledge and continually improve his professional competence, actively participating in various QC activities at the metalworking sub-factory. By optimizing and applying improvements to part-processing techniques, he has boosted his innovative awareness and capabilities. Among his achievements are projects such as the modification of dovetail milling cutters, the improvement of CNC machine tool processes, and the redesign of bevel gear injection molds—all of which have earned him the Guiyang Xianfeng Annual Small Improvement and Innovation Award.

As a veteran employee, Xing Zhu Chun not only diligently performs his own job every month but also actively engages in mentoring, assisting, and guiding younger colleagues. In doing so, he makes his due efforts and contributions to the company’s growth and development as well as to the cultivation of a strong reserve of future talent. For decades, he has remained steadfastly committed and dedicated to his post, wholeheartedly supporting the company’s high-quality development. To enhance work efficiency and effectiveness, he always completes tasks on the same day they are assigned. During his eight-hour workday, he is like a spinning top—constantly on the move, his busy figure visible everywhere in the workshop. Even beyond those eight hours, his work never ceases; overtime has become second nature for him. Often imbued with the spirit of an industrial worker, he passionately embodies the ethos of the Xianfeng people, embracing a work ethic characterized by dedication, precision, focus, and innovation. Relying on the hardworking spirit of Xianfeng’s industrial workers and their meticulous, quality-focused approach, he upholds the craftsman’s spirit and relentlessly pursues excellence in everything he does.

It is precisely thanks to employees like Zhu Chun—those who are hardworking, down-to-earth, and eager to contribute—that we’ve been able to harness their extraordinary strength in ordinary positions, inspiring and nurturing a large number of employees with a craftsman’s spirit. This, in turn, has helped Guiyang Xianfeng continuously grow stronger, better, and bigger, enabling it to become a world-class brand enterprise with an outstanding reputation both internationally and domestically.
